How To Get More Followers On Twitter Fast

In this article, i am going to discuss a simple technique to get more twitter followers using a simple and free method. It is somewhat time consuming because it's free and manual, but if you like effective free techniques, then you will like this one.

I call it the "Delicious Method' and you will see why once we go through this article. It is simply the best simple method out there to get more twitter followers. I have looked at a lot of techniques and software for getting more twitter followers and this the winner.

1. Create an account at www.delicious.com. It's pretty easy.
2. Install the Delicious toolbar into your browser.
3. Go to www.twellow.com, lookup Twitter users in your interest area (niche).
4. Right-click the Twitter link, and add them to your Delicious tab group. When the Delicious dialog box comes up, edit the link by adding "/followers" at the end of it. You'll see why below.
5. Add a total of at least 10 Twitter users that you think are leaders in your interest area. These are called your "Crushers".
6. Login to Twitter.
7. Open the Delicious sidebar in your browser and open your Tag group.
8. Click on the links that you created one at a time and you will be brought to that users followers page.
9. Follow the top 5 people in their followers list. I typically exclude followers that do not look like a good fit. For example, pornographic, vulgar, default icons, random character names, etc. You want to make sure that the people you are following are actually people and are hopefully interested in the same things as you.
10. Repeat this process every 15 minutes or so, it will depend on how quickly your Crushers get more twitter followers.
11. Keep this up and it will not be long before people are adding you as a Crusher to their Delicious list!!

Getting more twitter followers is a challenge, but it is not an impossible one. I am a casual Twitter user and my results have been pretty good. I have used software and this manual technique and the manual technique outperforms software most times. Getting twitter followers that are responsive is important as you are only allowed 1000 follows per day on Twitter.

The whole reason we only choose the top 5 of each Crusher is because we want to increase our chances of getting followbacks. It is more likely that people who recently followed your Crusher are online and therefore, more likely to follow you back.
